White text displays the title of the video: Righting Reflexes. Test of postural control. The text fades to show two people standing in line in an examination room. The woman standing in the front in the patient and the woman standing in the back in the doctor. The doctor takes a step forward so she is directly behind the patient and lifts her hand to the lower back of the patient. She pulls the patient forward in a quick jerking motion and the patient falls slightly backwards then stabilizes her feet. The doctor then pulls back on the patient is a faster and more forceful way and the patient falls into the doctors arms. The doctor holds onto the patient and helps her regain her straight posture.
