Hawkins-Kennedy Test

Hawkins-Kennedy Test – Physical Examination

The video begins with a black screen and the words Chronic Pain Management Guide: Physical Examination. Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration logo are displayed on the top. White text displays the title of the video: Hawkins-Kennedy Test. Test for subacromial impingement. Reproduction of spontaneous pain is a positive test. The screen fades to show the interior of an examination room. A doctor is standing next to a bed while a patient is sitting on the bed. The doctor raises her arm so that it is straight from her shoulder. The doctor bends the arm at the elbow and turns the arm. The screen fades to black and VA U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration logo appears.
